Carnations tend to get a bad rap.

People snob them, say they’re crap.

But I quite like their laid-back style,

Their funky colours make me smile.

I love to buy tulips, mix them up,

But they often fall over and drink too much.

For a budget friendly cheerful bouquet,

Give me carnations any day!
